Some might recall that a few weeks ago I was complaining about not being able to buy a well fitting sock to wear with my RM's.
They were all one size fits all, very tight, cutting off circulation and uncomfortable etc:

Well, the other day I went into our local work - wear shop to see if they had a proper size eleven work sock.
Nuh, all silly stretch thingy's.
I moaned and groaned and was about to leave when she said "hang on try these".
She reckoned they were the ants pants in socks, $13 a pair.

After wearing them I can only agree !!!
Nice fit, not tight, nice length and very comfortable.
I am going back for another half dozen pairs.

Cheers.

Robert.

They have these at Aussie Disposals.

I thought about getting a pair to try when I bought my new boots, but didn't have enough cash at the time. They are on the agenda to get.

I used to wear them, but found if I was working on any kind of a slope, I.e fencing my feet slipped sideways in my boots and I couldn't stand up. Had to ring my wife to bring down a pair of explorer socks and change over. And they took ages to dry...Gary

They do take ages to dry and are slippery to begin with but no smelly feet and I have some here that are now probly 3 year old and just ready for the bin not a bad run. For a sock. Used to use crookwell wool socks but couldn't find them locally any more
