I have noticed when i pull up to the light with the clutch in or in neutral I can hear an clunking from the drive train , I doesn't happen when under power or down shifting .

I spoke to the Tec at Pernell Motors and he said it’s all normal it's just the drive train catching up just don’t coast, down shift .

Is this normal ?

No it isn't normal  and it is most likely a dragging park brake.

I did initially think it was the park brake dragging a little but I dismissed it after talking to the Tec, I may just try to drag the park brake a little by hand as I slow down and see if it does make a difference .

Good idea, better idea is to grab a 17mm 3/8" drive socket and ratchet, and get under the vehicle and loosen the bolt 1 turn that is at 6 O'clock on the park brake back plate. This is the adjuster for the park brake shoes.

Report back.:)

If it fixes the problem, take vehicle back and get them to perform R/2009/091 recall.

Mine too makes a noise not so much a clunk clunk clunk but a light dunk dunk dunk if you know what I mean and it doesnt happen all the time only on occasion

The noise the Tec might be talking about is a term i have heard called "backlash" I have that too but mainly when changing gears

My 2011 Puma suffers from this too, coasting to a stop with the clutch in, havnt been overly concearned about it as all the puma's i have been in seem to have loads of drive train noise, its getting a new clutch next week i might mention it to them and see what they say...

Well Looks like JC was right , after having the hand brake recall performed on the 110 the clunk clunk clunk is gone . quiet as a mouse now.
Thanks JC

I noticed it but only after longish drives ~30 minutes without stopping. I noticed it driving from Brisbane to Mackay.

Then again last week when coming home Cape Hillsborough and came to my first stop after ~30 min non stop driving.
