anyone know what size the solex o'ring seal is for the elbow to starter cover?

part two of the problem
can someone with a solex that is working well check the accelerator pump link setup as i would like to know if the split pin is inside or outside the accelerator pump lever
it faces the front of the vehicle directly underneath where the fuel inlet resides
mine is outside the lever and it seems to be doing naught.

Your setup looks correct.The critical part is the thickness of the washers between the spring and the lever.There should be a gap of 0.5mm between the lever and the washer(s),according to my manual. W.

I'm not sure if that 0.5mm gap should be measured with the butterfly valve fully closed.(the idle adj.screw turned out.)  W.

the O'RING (Courtesy of 64EK26 on the series ii club forum)
Outside Diameter 27.8mm
Inside Diameter 21.2mm
'O' ring sectional diameter 3.3mm
Material type unknown but nitrile of viton should be OK
