What a great idea. This way you can catch the spider without squishing on the wall or floor and making a mess. Just pick the little blighter up carefully and take outside, release and then squish the bugger and no worry about the mess.:wasntme:

It is the handle long enough to use it for catching a funnel web spider ?

What's wrong with a jar and piece of paper.. place the jar over the spider and slip the paper under the open part of the jar.. use the paper as a 'lid' until you get it outside...

Or a stocking placed on the end of a vacuum cleaner hose.. (don't let go of the stocking) turn the vacuum on the spider will be sucked onto the stocking.. walk outside turn of vacuum.. both work well and the spider lives to scare someone else on another day... :)
