Seeking advice

I have a family member considering the purchase of a 2005 TDV6 SE. I recall having read several issues with this particular model but failed to unearth anything using the search function. Can anyone offer some advice??

Check if the lower control arms or ball-joints have been changed, if the car knocks badly from the steering, it probably hasn't. Check if the compressor has been updated - will it raise and lower the car a couple of times without overheating or drastically slowing down? Obviously check for electronic fault messages - ensure all terrain response and low-range switches work. Other then that, as long as all services and recalls were done in the first 3 years, there shouldn't be anything major to worry about.
