65Nm-48lb/ft
Oh, and I'd give the bolt holes + bolt threads a damned good clean out with something like brake or carby cleaner, hit with compressed air and then use 243 loctite on the bolts.

juust to be picky...
PSI (pounds per square inch) goes in tyres
FTlb (foot pounds) gets applied to fastners.

Don't over-tighten them whatever you do. And definitely use Loctite.
You'll understand why I say that if you ever snap one (or 5).

Were they snapped in the tightening process?
How many times had they been reused?

Might make a good case for Unbrako SHCS's with hardened washers under the heads.
Much, much better fasteners than normal Metric HT hex headed bolts.
Just a shame they are black and will corrode.

I had to replace the bolts recently when I found they had snapped, not sure of the cause.

this could actually be form them coming loose. I will let the engineers explain.

I know some of the USA guys where snapping DF bolts in their extremme usage, But for most of us is it really nessecary??? If the bolts are good quality and in good condition, the threads clean and true, and they are torqued correctly, how many are actully seeing them fail??

That'd make sense.
A slightly bent axle housing or stub axle will work the bolts loose too.
I have a deep fondness for Loctite :D
