Hi guys,
Planning a beach run and started thinking about recovery. Since ’94 with my previous discos I have only been bogged once and that was driver error:D, spent 5 minutes with a shovel and drove out. I have never used a snatch but I did have a decent point under the front.
This time will be the first using Rangie and have camper in tow; I have no doubt that it will handle it and I won’t need to know, but you know how it goes, if I don't at least have a plan I WILL need it....
(July 2004 TD6) Is the ring at the bottom of the front bumper (behind the removal panel) suitable for recovery in sand? I’ve not really had a good look at it. How substantial is it?
Many thanks.
