I phone hook up

Anybody explain to me why when i pair my Iphone to the MY06 vogue it doesnt seem to load up my contacts, and the speech option therefore cant find any names for it to be used effectively? Any help appreciated. Do I need to change something in the telephone setup onboard?

I don't have an iPhone or a RR... (don't want one, and cant afford the other :P )

But... you may find that the software in the car is not able to download the info from the phone.

We had a similar problem in the XR6. The phone module was 1 generation too old to give full functionality to the phone. In the end, we just lived with it.

Someone will be along shortly to give you some other suggestions, but it might be worth a quick trip to the dealer & ask them.

I run 2 trucks -

2005 L322 HSE td6 with phone dock and phone BT
and
2007 L322 vogue tdv8 with phone BT only.

I connect a phone through BT to both trucks and no contact list is available.

Through that phone hard dock I have full phone functionality including voice activated features.

Others have advised me that there is an option on an Iphone that allows you to select contact list availablity through a BT connection. I don't know
as I avoid apple products like the plague.

I have never bothered with voice activation on my trucks.
