WIRING DIAGRAM 96 110 DEFENDER

Does anyone out there know where to find a wiring diagram for the above mentioned defender. The diagrams i find on the net show the car as having an ECU which i dont have on the car.
I am currently trying to work out why my normal headlights wont work.
No blown fuses, headlamp switch works but dont know what else is in circuit between switch and lamps. Any suggestions would be appreciated!!

Hi jocky,
Not really anything between the switch and the globes. Unless your car has had relays added, which are normally up on the bulkhead or over the wheel arches. Have you pulled the lights off and checked for power at the bulb plugs? Mine had badly burnt plugs from high wattage bulbs and too small wiring. Maybe an earthing problem too, pretty common.
