Hi all,

How do I disable the automatic lowering function on my back side windows:D

They lower about an inch over a week or 2. Is a 95 130 crew cab

Take the handle off and reposition it so it is pointing down when fully closed. Simple ;)

We even turned the handles so they hang straight down when the window is fully up:confused:

Ours only lower about a couple of mm though:) LR must have been doing some improvements over the years, ous is a 2003 130 crew cab:p;)

So when you find out how can you tell the rest of the defender owners:D:D

Rather than having the handle vertically down, have it horizontal so the weight of the handle is holding the window up. By memory the handle is open at the back with webs for strength, adding weight towards the knob will make it more effective at holding the window closed.
But that may not be enough if the problem runs deeper.

Excellent, I shall give it a go and report back. Its not a consistant thing so might be a while
