Anyone have a clue as too what causes an on/off throttle when foot is barely pressing accelerator? Seems to do it more when cold. I've cleaned the MAF. Checked it's performance on the nanocom(about 60 at idle, I think short of 600 while flogging up a hill). Was thinking it might be accelerator potentiometer, but even that seems to be giving good progressive readings. Cleaned the MAP at the same time. I managed to eliminate my full throttle kangaroo problem by bypassing the wastegate solenoid and applying a dose of WD40 to the wastegate arm. It did seem to be a bit sticky at the beginning of the movement as the wastegate opens. Not sure if the WD40 has done the trick completely, but I'm not sure if this would affect low throttle anyhow.

Just letting everyone know I solved this problem. I replaced the intercooler hoses with silicone ones after suspecting they were collapsing under vacuum. It worked. It has also had the effect of reducing that 2200rpm vibration. Maybe pressure resonance of sorts builds up in soft hoses. The old hoses were still ok with respect to their interior, they just felt soft.
