Okay, so I am stuck with the 19" wheels of the HSE F2, which is fine as far as it goes, finding some decent rubber is an expensive and difficult task, as proven by the threads.

So cooper now have a 255/55/19 zeon which looks like it will do the job. One question y'all, will the 255/55s fit okay.

The rim width and rolling diameter is okay, the tyre placard is not, only showing 235/55/19's. But the placard not withstanding, can I fit the 255/55s without any interference?

It should be okay, only a few extra mms per side.

They are cheaper that OEM tyres and need some very soon. 80% on road 20% on its side.

You are increasing diameter by nearly an inch. Same with the width of the tyre. It will affect your speedo reading (will read slower) and your gearing up hils. Some on here have gone that big but have put the suspension spacers in to lift the car a little. I have 245's on and they don't rub anywhere. Mine are 65/17's so yours would be 1/2 an inch bigger than mine. The spare might not fit height wise either.

I have the 255/55/19 continentals which dont rub at all although just clear the strut on the front. Speedo still fine i think they are all calibrated a bit fast so it may be a fraction more acurate now but still fast.
