Windoze 8 upgrade

After keeping on with XP for a fair while, I'm thinking of grabbing the $30 update offer and bringing my computer up to date a little.
It was about time for a re-format anyway, so I haven't got much to lose for $30 :)

Is anyone else planning on taking the leap when the time comes?

You can still have the standard desktop, you can even put ViStart on to get a semblance of the old start menu back, then have the latest OS with a familiar feel.

Don't try it on an old netbook, though... I have a 1024x600 Acer, and all of the Win8 flashy new apps require 1024x768 to run...
