I bought an ALDI tablet on Sunday and was surprised to find them still in stock at ALDI Green Point.
I was in Erina Aldi today and spoke to the store manager and he told me he still has heaps as ALDI sent a heap more than last time.

I am very happy with mine. It is no Ipad but for what it is IMHO at $249 it is great.
It browses well and is quick to download emails etc, and the camera is acceptable for email attachments. It seems much better than the last model was complained to be as it has 1.5Gig dual core processor instead of a 1Gig single core.

So if you want one don't think they all went in 5 minutes . They are still around.

I had a look last night and other Android 4 devices do not recognise a GPS dongle but a poster said that a bluetooth GPS will work on most Android 4 devices.
I do not know about the ALDI one specifically.

On another matter I was able to buy a Telsta Elite 3G dongle on ebay last night for $22 , so I will try my Iphone SIM in it for a modem. While the USB is a mini , you get a little conversion cord.

My local Aldi at Emu Plains has them, too. I don't need one as I have an iPad I don't use.

Only trouble is no stores in the west and doesn't look like you can buy online.

I think our Aldi down the road has them so if anyone is desperate to get one I could go down and get them one and maybe post it...they would have to give money up front though as I dont need tablet, I would hate to buy it and have someone change their mind leaving me with it. But the offer is there
