Sitting on the couch watching a bit tv tonight. Daughters cat Max(daughter and cat still live at home ) a Himalayan/ rag doll cross, so not a small cat. Max jumps up on the couch. Apparently it had a agenda that involved me. Next thing I know I have a large cat chewing into my elbow with its front legs wrapped round my arm. When Max plays he plays hard and for keeps  :D Did get my attention pretty quick. So after carefully getting my elbow back in one piece I realised Max may be after a game. Takes years of cat ownership to know these little clues as to what they want. :) So I found a better toy for Max other than my elbow and the game continued for a bit more.

I never use to like cats but after having several over a 25year period (bloody wife's fault) I've found I've warmed to them somewhat. Mischievous little buggers.
Current cat likes nothing better than a scrap of newspaper rolled into a ball. It chases it under the shelving then spends ages trying to fish it out with it paws.

I like cats, but I like dogs at the same time.
I like cats because they just seem a bit too clever for everyone else :D
However, a greeting from an excitable Samoyed is pretty entertaining.
If you've ever visited Slunnie you know what I'm talking about :p

Try having an excitable Samoyed and a hyperactive Japanese Spitz..
The Japanese Spitz is like Hammy from the movie "Over the Hedge"
If anything is happy to see a Cat at our place; its the Japanese Spitz

We don't have cats but our daughter does so we get lumbered with them occasionally.
They are white brother and sis. The male is deaf. If we don't get up early enough to feed him, he hops onto the bedside cupboards and methodically swipes everything off until we pay attention.
The trouble that we both wear earplugs to bed.......

Our cat (Gizmo) does exactly the same. Must be something inherent in their genes.
