LT95 bolts to which engine

Does anybody know if the lt95 bolts directly to any U.S engine?
Most importantly does its input shaft match any other engine? Is its input shaft the same as a land cruiser four speed?

depends on what you get with the engine.

the lt95 will bolt up to a lot of different engines once you sort out the flywheel housing adaptor.

Im pretty sure the isuzu varient bolts up directly to the yank knock off of the isuzu 4bd1 (rebadged as an industrial engine)

I just re read your first PM to me Mat,and was reminded that you have a V8 not an 4BD1. In that case see if you can get hold of a 101 FC bellhousing,which is 4'' shorter.One of the stock Ranger OD's input shafts could then be used with the appropriate thickness adaptor/sandwich plate and clutchplate.
Incidently,The internal 10 spline hole in the hollow mainshaft of the Ranger that I have, has due to lack of lubrication, ala LT230 mainshaft/gear, worn out to exactly fit the Landrover clutch shaft. It originally fitted the slightly thinner splines of a 3spd LandCruiser clutch shaft. Anyway, an LT95 clutch shaft can be shortened and resplined, cut and shut,or even cut and shut with a spline from a different gearbox attached. There's bugger all torque at that point to worry a properly executed weld job.
Another possible option, I have a V8 Stage One with a 4speed LandCruiser transmission fitted via a commercial Bell housing. possibly Dellow. Maybe a 4speed LandCruiser specced Ranger OD and similar bellhousing would simplify the conversion, then you would only need to adapt the LT95 box and input shaft to the back of the Ranger.
