Just a quick note & a thanks to Drivesafe (Tim @ Traxide) for the fantastic kit he provides. Both the kit & the instructions are first grade and work perfectly well. It's a quick (took me half a day), simple and mostly painless (no drilling etc) process, well researched & thought through. Definitley something anyone can do without doing damage to their car.

The only thing I would have needed were smaller hands & longer arms with a few more joints to be able to get the long cable through the car. :p

So far so good next time we'll go on a trip I'll hook up the fridge and we'll see how we go.

cheers

That's good to hear.
I just purchased a kit for my D3.
Tim emailed me the installation instruction yesterday and they are very comprehensive.

Hopefull I will get my kit next week!:)

I found a little bit of Armourall on the long cable made getting it into the channel down the driver's side a piece of cake!

I also purchased one from drive safe and it is fantastic. My only issue experienced was that I fed 50cm of cable in to the engine bay as I thought it said, and was trying to reach the terminals. Turns out it didn't need that much as there are different connections to add to it. Still haven't got round to feeding some back, but when I need to it should be a lit simpler than the first time. My weaco which never froze anything before is super cold now!
