Don't have the manual with me and have the need to learn.

We wanted to take some pics of a water fall the other day, had tri-pod and wanted to keep the shutter open for a longer time which I believe is exposure time?

How do I increase the exposure time??

If you have an iPhone or an Android then do what I do and download the PDF from Nikon.
DSLR D60 User Manuals (http://nikonasia-en.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/5805/kw/d60/p/40/c/219/st/5/sno/1)
For that just in case moment.

To decrease shutter speed put the camera in S(hutter) or M(annual) mode and use the rear right hand wheel to change the shutter speed. You should be able to go down to 30" and then to B(alb) but that will need a release cable to hold the shutter open.

Well how simple was that.......99% of the time I just use it as a point and shoot. Wendy will be impressed with my new found knowledge.

Looks like I need register for the Nikon site, job for next week.

Worth registering and you may also need the camera serial number to download. Alternatively the USA site is less restrictive: User's Manual - D60 - Guide to Digital Photography (http://support.nikonusa.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/14511)
