I have new drums, shoes & cylinders.

I've bled & re-bled twice but I cant get a good high pedal. It's firm enough but only 2" off the floor.

When I clamp the rear flexible hose, the pedal is perfect so the problem is in the rears.

I've adjusted them until they are stuck tight and still have a low pedal.

Pumping the pedal improves the situation but I get no air when I bleed. But remember pumping also takes up XS adjustment by defacto increasing the stroke i.e. the slave pistons don't get a chance to reset & travel a bit further outwards.

Not sure where to go now.

Is this a Series quirk??
