I think this belongs here rather than D2a or electronics, but mods feel free to correct me.
I'm interested in any feedback/examples of well protected/recessed LED replacements for fog (= brake) and stronger than normal reversing lights for a replacement rear bar for my D2a which will be made from aluminium rectangular section (100 x 25?) plus bracing. I'm ideally looking for narrow width (up to 38mm?) horizontally fixed options to minimise compromising the lesser than steel strength created by recessing cutouts.
So far not a great deal of what I conceptualised as ideal found on ebay, manufacturers etc, with stronger (and possibly not legal) reversing lights being preferred, which in turn probably means separate fog and reversing assemblies eg

I had a couple of cheap low watt driving lights angled slightly down replacing reversing lights on my last car, and that worked a treat without blinding those behind.
