Hi guys,

Ive been looking, and looking, and looking, but i cant seem to find any 16x8 rims in anything over 0 offset. Im looking for something wider then say -10, but everyone tells me they are out of stock or their supplier does not stock.

I need wheels and tyres in the next week, so any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have had alot of people try to sell me 15x8's, and im interested to hear from people running them on a defender. Do they clear?

Will be going on a 95 defender 110 hardtop

Cheers,
Dan

You could try procomp.com.au I've got 16x7 with a 12 offset on my disco and I believe they do a 16x8 as well

Minus 25 in 8" at Les Richmond, not bad value either... 15x 8's will clear no worries too.

If you are going an 8" rim just make sure you will be covered by your insurer. I got rid of mine as Allianz and 2 other insurers wouldn't cover me if I had anything wider than a 7" rim.

Also make sure that the rim centre is the right diametre to the axle hubs.

Give Fred a call at Fred Smith Automotive in Bayswater. PH:97204999
He sells the Wolf rims. Not sure of the sizes he has but I know he sells offset rims.

Or you can get your current rims offset at Eastern Wheelworks

Or you can use the Australian company 'Performance Alloys'. You need TX1's for a Defender and they do a whole range of offsets.

Cant help you within a week, but I bought mine in from the UK. The price with freight was about the same as here or a bit cheaper, I cant remember. I got 16x8. They only took about 2 weeks to get here. The biggest hold up was customs did not belive they were less the a grand for 8 rims. I bought 5 for the Deefa and 3 for a camping tariler.

Once I got proof to them i got them 3 days later.
