On my 110 200tdi I seem to have oil inside the air filter..
It seems to be draining down from the turbo. There isn't a huge amount but enough to drip out when I removed the filter from the canister.
I feel like this is something I should worry about but I haven't noticed the engine running poorly or any unwated noises.
I haven't owned the diesel very long, so i'm still learning the ropes.
Where could the oil be coming from and is this something I need to act on quickly?
Thanks.

very common for the 200Tdi in a defender, as this is a low point in the breather system. A Provent will help prevent it soaking airfilter end, search on here Provent there are lots of threads etc.

yes the oil breather on the side of your head is not the best at seperating air/oil. Provent I hear are good

but also the Allisport catch tank is supposed to be much better than the orignal -> AlliSport Defender 200 or 300 Tdi Oil Breather Tank | eBay (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/AlliSport-Defender-200-or-300-Tdi-Oil-Breather-Tank-/250882708064)

Not a worry unless your air filter is getting oiled up enough to hinder its performance. You could try taking you breather off and flushing it through both ways to clear out any deposits that might be blocking the internal mesh.
