Anyone able to tell me the length of the Discovery 1 panhard rodd from eye to eye please?
There's a rumour that it may be slightly longer than the Discovery 2 panhard rodd and therefore suitable for a Discovery 2 with a big suspension lift.

820mm centre of eye to centre of eye ;)
Cheers for that.
My D2 standard unit is:
780mm approximately from centre of bolt hole to centre of bolt hole.
820mm approximately from end to end (furtherest point to furthest point).
The problem I am having on my D2 is that with the 4" lift, the front axel is about 30mm further over to the drivers side of the vehicle.
I am hoping that since the Discovery 1 panhard rod is 40mm longer it may solve this issue by pushing it back towards the passenger side. Being 40mm longer on a diagonal, the leftward push should be less than 40mm which should be fairly close to the amount I need it adjusted by...
Alternatively an adjustable D2 panhard rod has to come from the USA for around $400.00. I don't really want to pay that much if a second hand D1 unit does the job for cheaper, and I don't really want to wait for freight from the USA.
EDIT: better still, the RRC panhard rodd seems to be the same as the D1, so even easier to find one now.

Yes mate, that sounds like it will work just fine if the mounts are the same size at each end, you may need to make sure that it comes with bushes then as long as the bolt size is the same your in business ;)
