Fitting a detroit locker to my 110, purchased from GBR, it came with bearings and thrust washers as extras but the install instructions say "be sure all thrust washers have been removed from the diff case" Bill from GBR hasnt got back to me yet and the car is in pieces. Any ideas?

Timely, I have just done mine.
The Detroit will come to you as a "spider" assembly which you fit into your carrier or pre fitted into/including a carrier.
Keith from Rovingtrackes supplied mine as 'Spider" only newer SL type and he reuses the side gear thrust washers.

You need to check which model you have. i.e if the part number has SL in it, you have the newer, quieter unit and the thrust washers need to be fitted.

If you have the older style you remove all thrust washers.

If you have the SL type, refit your original side gear thrust washers only or fit the supplied side gear thrust washers only.

cheers
