I have been listening to music on my iphone 4s via bluetooth perfectly well until recently. The car still connects to the phone over bluetooth and it displays the song title its supposedly playing but I get no sound. If I plug in via the cable and select the appropriate source in the D4, it plays fine. I can still make calls via bluetooth but just don't hear the music. Anyone have any suggestions?

Cheers in advance

Oli

Just a thought has there been a software upgrade on the iPhone lately, could have caused one of the settings to change

I have the reverse problem, can play via bluetooth but cannot play for more than 2-15mins via USB cable. iPhone keeps playing but Disco produces no sound.

There have been lots of problems reported on the Apple support boards of loss of Bluetooth and direct connect functionality with the iOS6 upgrade. Personally my D4 predated BT music but I have had problems with the direct connect, I need to hard boot the phone now when connected to get it to work. Lets hope 6.1 fixes it!

I haven't upgraded the OS to iOS6 yet due to lots of negative media on it so that won't be the problem.

As mentioned, my wife & daughter just got the new iPhone 5. They both had heaps of problems changing over.......different charging inlet (no longer works with the docks etc they have. Different sim card.......had to get a new sim card and had problems swapping over.

I picked up my new Samsung Galaxy 3 4G phone yesterday. Swapped the sim card over and the SD card with all my photos etc. Done in less than 5 minutes.

Still think iphones are gay :wasntme:

What was the setting on phone? I'd like to store that info away in case I have trouble in the future, which I will, coz that's how I roll.

How do you listen to music via BT? All I can do is use the phone via BT.
