Stereo Changeover adapter unit

Hi all,
Just thought I would put this out there - just found this product on ebay for anyone considering changing their head unit this just plugs into wiring and whichever stereo you specify and allows use of steering wheel controls!! :)

It only says it goes up to 2000 HSE, so I'm gonna contact them to get more details, seems silly to stop it at that year, as they didnt stop making the P38 until at least 2001?

Im sure it would still work on yours, I think next version would be using canbus as in L322 etc so you should be safe.
