Very frustrated at the moment. I bought a Cruise control Kit from a UK supplier who apprently worked for the company.
The kit comprises a couple of lengths of wire, some pin connectors & seals + a switch.
Most importantly it comes with a great set of instructions.
Problem for me was I had no time so I paid Complete Car Sound in Enoggera to fit it up expecting a couple of hours labour.
End result $325.00 in labour & the following statement-" it all went together really well & the instructions were really easy to follow, but nothing happens when you press the switch"
I now have a really expensive switch on the steering column & not much else!
I am contacting the maker as we speak but I am wondering if the ABS light coming on the dash means somewhere I have a leak or fault that might cause this to fault.
Does anyone in Brissy have a diagnosis unit to read the fault codes without charging me a million bucks to try & sort out if I am even in the right ballpark?
The ABS & TC lights have been there for a while but don't seem to have affected the brake performance.
It is a 1999 TD5 110 Extreme.
Thanks in advance!
