Difference in air flow meter

Hi guys just wanting to know if there is any difference between the v8 3.5 and 3.9 air flow meters as mine on my 3.5 I think has packed it in and need a replacement. Thanks in advance.

If you are talking Discovery 3.5 and 3.9 , there is a differnt model number on the MAFs but functionally they are the same.
The later ones 95>? had gold plated contacts to stop signal degradation .
Some are called 3AM and some 5AM
