Anybody here got one ?

everything I read is good. (heres a review http://www.thephoblographer.com/2012/05/30/review-olympus-omd-em5/ )
I'm a fan of Olympus from way back having owned OM1, OM2 & OM10 35mm SLR's, I loved those cameras and only just sold my Black OM2 a few years ago.

I picked one up at JB Hifi to have a play & wanted to buy it there & then, it just felt right, & oh so light compared to a real SLR.

the OMD is mirror less but you would not know when looking thru the EVF.

Only I cant decide between silver or black. Black looks better but I think silver will be cooler in the outback.

If it were me,I would get the black,as it just looks better. The heat difference will be minimal. If you like the small size and light weight of the OM series cameras, you will love the OM-D.Getting used to the 4/3's system can take some getting used to.Olympus make some fabulous lenses, and the weatherproof lenses are a bonus for when you are out and about in the bush.
I don't have an OM-D,but I do have an E3 and an E5 and love both.

If one day you would like to do wild life photography including birds go for the black.

I chose silver on my first DSLR... I wouldn't chose silver again...

Go black.
