Hi.

looking for a good place to mount the LPG converter. have an entire impco lpg system out of another discovery but being a non-abs model the converter mounted right where my abs system is. any ideas?

thanks in advance :D

Two options imho...

Either as far forward on the inner left guard as you can get on a fabricated mount (LPGas 1 style) or

Replacing the washer bottle with something smaller and using the space vacated on the firewall end of the inner left guard, again on a mount bracket.

Both are close to the mixer.

Here are some pics of mine mounted on a simple fabrcated bracket. Mine is a landi-renzo type but I assume that they are all simular in size and shape ish. The only problem ive had with it being there is its a bit tight to adjust the timing.

LPG Gas1 were going to mount mine in front of the air box but I told them not to as I was fitting a second battery.

They ended up welding a bracket to the Shocker Turret and mounted it down next to that. I have the whole system sitting on the floor of my shed if you want a picture of it. I removed it as I have wrecked the car.

I'm getting there. looks like the airbox will need to be rotated 90° and some custom piping will need to be done as the impco mixer doesn't line up with the air flow meter. its either that or get an inline mixer. thanks for the feedback for the converter mounting guys. much appreciated. :)

I have mine mounted on the drivers side near the brake cylinder.
I don't have abs, but i have a dual battery and a snorkel and just fitted an early model round air filter.
