Hi,

Quick question about the 255/85 r16 tyres and that is what changes in driving would i expect from this Tyre size in a 110 defender 300tdi engine? How much gearing would be affected? enough to worry about? revs doing 100k's vs normal Tyre size etc....

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Shane.

Hey Shane,

You should have no dramas regarding gearing and rev range beeing affected with 255/85 r16.

What tyres are you looking at?? What driving do you do??

Honestly I would go 285/75 r16 :wasntme: I run these on My defender and the extra width make it look so much better :)

Cheers

Hi Pete,

Looking at coopers s/t only because I know a guy at a tyre shop but I like BFG's, driving mainly road with occasional off-road, dont have much time to go 4wd'ing at the moment.

cheers,

Shane

Hey Mate,

The Copper ST's are pretty good. What price are you getting them for?? Have you decided on size yet??

Cheers
