A friend of mine has a series 1 that we would like to find out some more info about. The numbers are, CAR No- 133800024. BODY- LRL2886. SERIAL NO- 1072886. I am guessing that it was made in 1958, a hard top (roof has a double skin) 2 door, he thinks that it was used as an ambulance. I am going to have a look tonight so I can post a photo later. Can anyone get any more from the numbers?
Thanks in advance,
David.

All I can make out from James Taylors book is that its a 107" CKD Station Wagon RHD of course. So should have 5 doors. 1958 is right.

big job to be done there but it is easier that the panels are flat so you can remake them, the 2a looks pretty good. does this person get on the net much?
i would like to see a thread on the 107 s/w

Does it still have it's original engine?

Can you check the number, it should be something like 1118099??

The 107 wagons all had full deluxe trim and the second row seats could fold flat to make a bed, something Land Rover didn't do again until the D4, if you call a flat floor a bed.

This Landy Wagon has found it's way to my shed and I have just hunted around for the engine number.
111810026 is what I found.

111810026 sounds just about right for an original engine.

Max H in the Blue Mountains West of Sydney has an ex-QATB ambulance 107 wagon, but it would be unusual for an ambulance to retain its second row seat.
