Anyone know of supplier of steel rims in following spec :

Black 16 x8 - 25 offset x 5

Dynamic are out as are Les Richmond. 4-5 weeks wait. I was about to put new big boots on my 08 SVX ( 285/75 r16 bfg at ) and then I get this response on the wheels.

Any alloy alternatives with similar offset to deal with the larger tyre ?

Thanks in advance for any suggestions

Have you tried Eastern Wheel Works in Vic? They will custom make rims for you. Not sure on the wait time though. Also I have heard good things and the odd not so good from them

I bought mine out of the UK from Famous Four. Paddocks also have them as would others.

They cost about $45 per wheel and freight was about $45 $50 per wheel and they took 10 days to get here.

The biggest problem I had was customs not believing the cost as I bought 8, 5 for the 110 and 3 matching for the camping trailer. They expected to get their 10% for over a $1k order from overseas. Took an extra 2 days to get them after I sent the proof of purchase.

Ex UK???

Or find some 16x8s (e.g. nissota) and have centres from D1 steels fitted.
