Has any one had a look at this new trailer. I am thinking of one with out the tent. I would fit my fox wing to the side and use my oztent instead.
I have a 130 and the box could fit on the back as well as it unbolts.

I had a good look at the leisure show. I loved it. I am very keen to get one. I don't think he will have any ready until early next year which suits me fine. I want to fit a Hannibal tent and awning. I reckon it will look great with my D90.

Yeah I am not ready until next year either. Would defiantly look great behind a 90.
I would like the kitchen set up on the left though and have the fridge on the right on a drop slide so its closer to the kitchen bench.

I think I would order it with just the basics. I would fit my own fridge, electrics, and my D1 alloys painted black. I would also get it painted a similar grey and have a spare each side. I am buying a Hannibal tent soon to fit to the roof. I will transfer when the trailer is ready. I think I will place a deposit soon. I really liked it.

If you do a search for camper trailer kitchens on evilbay you will see on from Xtrail for around $950. I am not completely sold on it.

I think that would be a good option or for me I would have the sink and refrig. sliding out to the L/H/S with a fast verandah over and the tent and annex out the back. Otherwise a great looking trailer and follow anywhere. You would never have to leave that one behind.

Would probably look good in a No 5 trailer.
Bit expensive though IMHO.

I went and had another look the other day at the factory in Kilsyth. The next prototype will be slightly bigger with a sideways opening door. The door up the front will only open in the top half to allow for tool box. I want to supply my own D1 wheels and fit it out with my own tent, awning and fridge etc. the first ones won't be ready until March. It really wouldn't be hard to make.

Yeah I would like the kitchen slide on the left as its further off the road and would be further under cover. I have a fox wing awning I would fit to the left side. I wouldn't need a tent on top, as I would use my Oz Tent and tent and awning are compatible.
Good looking bit of kit though.

Thanks for the update. I was thinking of a box up front for a fridge. I would like a wider kitchen bench as I have a smev sink I would like to reuse, it's 500mm wide it goes with their optional smev stoves with the glass lids. I don't they can make a 500mm bench fit in though.

If you used all that handy looking real estate in front of the box you'd have a hard time balancing towball weight due to no rear overhang.

Did you see that on the website there are tywo types of Suspension. one with solid axle leaf and the other with independent spring ? Is that another customisable spec ?

Old thread but I wondered if anyone ever did get one of these?
Saw one on the weekend at the Vic 4wd show and like the small size and simple design. Appears the company closed up shop last year but sold on the design to a new mob who will continue to make them. Unfortunately the rep at the show was swamped with fans when we were there I so wasn't able to get much info on them.

X-trail shut down yes, but the fella behind the XMT-A1 took the design with him to the new owners of X-trail. He's a top bloke and great to talk to
(Did some interviews with him at Lesiurefest)
Thay are working on a new one with an aluminium body and a modular design. (1 chassis, multiple bodies)
It will be lighter again.
I love the concept of a small camper. They are the sort of trailer that will go anywhere your truck can.

Yes, we've found all the campers out there are way too big for what we want. This is pretty much the perfect size to fit what would normally go in and on the roof of our 90. As a bonus the design is pretty funky too.

It think the new owners are these guys: ozRVshop.com - get 4WD, caravan, camper and marine parts and accessories at less price. (http://www.ozrvshop.com) that's the business card that was attached to the brochure anyway, looks like the site has no references as yet, it was only very recent.
