Hi, I’dappreciate some advise please..Looking at hiring a Jayco Expand for a week overChristmas and part of the rental agreement states that fitting a Weight Distribution Hitch (WDH) is compulsory but according to LR these devices are not recommended.

I don’t have the trailer stability option so can I tow the Jayco with the WDH? Any advise is appreciated.

I thought all D4's come with trailer stability ?

Definitely no wdh with airbag equipped vehicles....they fight each other.

In the manual it states the use of load leveling devices are a no no, I gather you havent read the book:wasntme:

If you have a D4 then you HAVE trailer stability, again its in the book.....!

I have a 2010 TDV6 D4 and was told that only the SDV6 & HSE come trailer stability assist?

And we towed a 18ft jayco expanda for 2 years with the D4 and it towed it like it wasn't there, and no to the WDH

Hi White D4,
All Discovery 4's regardless of spec &/or engine are equipped with TSA.
Cheers
