Anyone seen rims like these before? Photos taken from the 'University of London Officers' Training Corps' facebook page.

Hi. They're called Blindo wheels, and are supplied by Silverline out of the UK... Silverline Wheels and Tyres: Welcome to Silverline 4x4 (http://www.silverline4x4.com) or +441926 468668. Found this pic on page 106 of April's LRO... (Kinda figure if its bein circulated in a world wide mag, its ok to snap it with the IPad and stick it here. Forum dudes, please remove if not!! Sorry in advance!) The safari boys use them on the Wildcats so they must be a very strong wheel. Look good to. If I hadn't got my 'Rare as chooks teeth' Compomotives I'd be running these! Huh! Put the website in and it's already found the link for you! This interweb thingy is a bit good eh!!!

Pretty sure they have them on anything in Afghanistan now as they are much better at not killing car occupants when hitting an IED.

The aluminium doesn't become shrapnel like steel does in a blast.
