My cousin in stuck in Beechport in his D2 with an airbag that won't inflate.
Does anyone know if the manual override valves for the p38 will work on a D2? They're a 6mm pipe to the airbag like the p38s, but they're a screw in connector.
I believe there was a guy on this forum a few years ago who sold manual override valves that suited the p38 and D2.
If they are the same, it may be a very late night drive.

just head yourself to a good truck shop or pirtek they will be able to sell you adaptors that you can use to break into then adapt the lines to other compressed air sources...
worst case go male nitto-ballvalve-6mm line press fit adaptor.
cut the lines near the top of the airbag fit the adaptors open the ball valve and use a compressor to pump up the bags, close the ball valve and disconnect.

Disco 2 SLS air lines are 4mm.
Splice a Schrader Valve with 4mm adapter on to each of the 2 air lines in the SLS unit attached to the chassis rail. One on each side, the middle line is air supply to/from dryer.
To disable SLS you remove Relay 5 in the engine bay fuse box.
Standard height for SLS is approx 450mm measured from centre of wheel cap to bottom lip of the wheel arch.
See the instructions for the Hard Range D2 SLS Bypass Kit at http://hardrange.com/downloads/manual/HRA-D2-SLS-EBK-Install.pdf
If he uses this, he can buy me a couple of half-decent bottles of red when he makes it home :p ... or not, as long as he gets home ok.
Cheers, Paul.
