Cheers.Actually I think its a SLOw member! :D But I'm sure they will welcome you and your 54 with open arms if not oil pans. :) :)
The big problem (for us) is that SLOw are based in SEQ so us Mexicans get to enjoy less of their activities. We are however planning to continue the Cross Border Weekend with SLOw and the NSW, ACT clubs at Glenreagh each year.

As the big race is done and I scored the draught horse I think it's time I organised m'self an avatar thingie and I have in mind to draft up a letter to
send to the Big Cheese of LRA about a vehicle for Arthur. The bloke is a living legend and LRA and all of us owe him tribute. Cheers ... R.:)

You can Move:D
As for you RecMec, you can most certainly join SLOw, you can find a form here

We are currently Queensland based, but investigations are underway to Value Add to our interstate members.
As for Arthur, he is a true engineer. To drive such a large vehicle would be in excess of his requirements, so had scaled back to more accurately fulfil his current needs.
Welcome and stick around. And show us some pics of your Series 1:D

Hi RecMec
Welcome aboard to the forum, it's an interesting discussion your started here.
Arthur explains the Ackerman principle of setting the position of the steering arms, using a pencil !
The engineer that designed the steering on my L300 van that I once owned, must have broken his penicl before he started the design.

G'afternoon all, tku, I'll get back to the membership appln later and organise
some snaps of the S1. I've since gone a bit more formal with my idea so will keep you all posted which will take maybe three weeks.;)
Yesterday I drew the Clydesdale in the big race so had time to think the matter through, helped along by a nip or three of The Macallan. Clydesdales can't be hurried. Cheers ... R.
