Tdi brake light wire

Can someone please tell me the easiest place to tap into the brake light wire, I am wiring up a redarc brake controller.

I'm pretty sure I just tapped into the wire where it came off the M/C switch in the engine bay side of the firewall.

I'll wander out and have a look later, I'll confirm or correct :D
