Hi to all Puma owners.
i had my MY2010 since new and just want to know if you guys ever loose the chill in the air con?
My seems to be blowing chill air and then not so chill air
and at times a mist would blowing out of the air vents and then i'll loose all chill air.

My 2009 Puma airconditioning does not do that and is quite effective for the size of the vehicle. I'm in QLD and conditions can be demanding. Your problem seems common, not only to Pumas and one of our Air Con members should be able to tell you what's happening.

Sounds like a defect temperature switch and as a result the aircon is icing....

No problems with our aircon - 48 degrees outside and we had to keep it on the low fan speed or my wife would get too cold. Sounds like icing up to me as well -the older Pumas had problems with the temp switch IIRC

2011 Puma here and the only problem I find with the air con is that it's often too cold if I have the fan blowing.. just pushing the air con button is generally enough for me.. :)

Every car has its niggles – annoying things that can go wrong that are peculiar to that particular make and model, and the Puma is no exception. Thankfully though, the Puma's foibles are comparatively minor.
In this article, I attempt to outline the most common faults that have been reported on Pumapeople (the on-line Puma owners' club) over the years. When inspecting a Puma with a view to buying it, you should of course check all of the usual things, as you would with any car. In this article, I attempt to give a rough idea of extra things that a prospective buyer should be aware of when viewing a Puma…
Very useful resource lots of good info and ways to fix faults…

Err, that link is for a different type of "Puma" vehicle. I've hunted high and low and my Puma doesn't have a "parcel shelf" that could "drop into the boot space". I'd also be worried if my Puma's tailgate lifted automatically. Luckily my Puma doesn't have a "1.7 litre" engine though.

I thought this was happening to me and then I realised it was just the heat coming up from under my seat and gearbox area.
