Wow, it's amazing what a dummy can work out with enough time! (monkeys/typewriters etc etc....)

Maybe I'm the only one who gets annoyed with my non-retracting soft cargo cover in the boot of my RRS getting in the way when loading.I usually flip it over the back seat, but I came accross a solution by accident. Just pull it out a bit further and up and it sits out the way against the frame :D

I think I've attatched a photo, not very tech savvy.

Anyone else got any "blimey that's clever" tips?

Cheers.
Rohan.

The rear cargo blind on my RRS auto retracts - yours is obviously faulty.

Yes it is.
Tip still applies to working blinds if you cant be bothered or are too short to reach :)

My blind sits in my wardrobe where it is safe, never to be attached to the car again until I sell it! I also found the one from my VW Multivan in there and that was sold. I forgot to put it back in the car!

No. All it does is get in the way, especially if you use the third row seats in the D4. At least the RRS doesn't have that problem. I just take mine out and save the weight so I don't have to worry about it when I change configurations.

It is very clever the way the blind fits into a slot in the floor between seats when they are folded down flat in the D4 but no good when they are up.

I also have my son's D1 blind in my wardrobe so he is not a fan either! Not much room for clothes any more.

In some of the places near where I work if you don't use the blind you'll come back to a smashed window and something missing...
Not uncommon to pull up in the town (not where I live, where I work) and have a few of them looking into the vehicles windows before you even walk away.
Anything visible - Phone, Coin in tray, CDs, iPods, Smokes... And the window will be broken...

I suppose belting them sensless (relative statement) with the blind is unacceptable?..... :wasntme:
