hi all - 1st time question so excuse if not sensible.
have 2007 disco3 SE diesel - latest problem (after many others) is lights (headlamps, tailights) coming on by themselves (light switch in off position - not on auto). can occur when ignition first on or after driving for some time - unpredictable. even had headlamps only come on one time when not in car & keys not in car - same for tailights.
have brake controller for caravan but same thing occurs when brake controller removed.
no faults showing in computer
any help greatly appreciated.

I had a Disco disco event a few weeks ago keys in but mostly with the keys out. I had just been in a river and assumed a shorting fault. Service thought a loose battery might have been an issue but I doubt this as I had removed terminals to stop the party the night before! Water was my issue but still not sure where. One helpful gent on this forum suggested the earth strap should be checked. Could be worht a look for you.

Good luck and hope you stop the party.

Hi. I had a problem slightly different to yours in that all sorts of warning lights would show up intermittently for weeks. Eventually had the battery checked .. it was on the way out so had it replaced and so far (10 months later) had no recurrence of problem. Might be worth having your battery checked out.

Cheers.
