Just wondering for those that have GOE rims, did you locate matching colours for the wheel nuts ?

I have the Matt black rims, but can't seem to locate black wheel nuts.

I use the factory rims for around town, and GOE rims when heading away, so don't want to paint the factory wheel nuts.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Have a look at the range of nuts available here:

Brett,

I looked at this too and found these guys

Gloss Black Land Rover Lug Nuts Mag Seat for Range Rover Sport LR3 LR4 Set of 20 | eBay (http://www.ebay.com/itm/GLOSS-BLACK-LAND-ROVER-LUG-NUTS-MAG-SEAT-FOR-RANGE-ROVER-SPORT-LR3-LR4-SET-OF-20-/260986401904)

They do them in Matt as well, but the postage was over $200.

If you find some, let me know - would be happy with doing a group buy

I'd be cautious using nuts other than genuine LR. The nuts need to have the correct chamfer, as well as locating on the stud the correct number of turns to be legal. This is important for insurance reasons.

Can you not simply paint the external nut "shell"?

Cheers,

Gordon

Thanks Gordon for that.

I noticed the nut had an outer shell.

I might pull it apart and have a look.

Thanks for the tip....and the advice.
