D4 global closing

2011 D4 global opening works fine.(doors unlock and windows open)
Cannot get global closing to go.
that is, it locks the doors etc but doesnt close the windows.

You won't get it to work either, it isn't applicable to our market.

Has been discussed to death previously.

Close will work, if you have keyless entry,
just push and hold door button twice

No, I mean keyless entry,
if you have the little buttons on the door handles to lock,
and just touch handle to open

Global close will work if you push door handle button second time and hold

Finally tried it tonight.
Global opening and closing works fine on my MY12 SE.
Takes about 3 seconds before it all happens, but its all 4 windows up, and all doors lock....and the same in reverse happens pressing the unlock button.
I don't have keyless entry. Have to do it the old fashioned way with the key fob.

For those that are interested this is the applicable section from the ADR's

"19.3.2.1.1.5. Remote opening/closing is allowable through continuous operation of a remote actuation device provided that the remote actuation device must be incapable of opening/closing the power window from a distance of more than 11 m from the vehicle."

Hehehe......guess land rover missed that bit.

Doing mine from the house now and global setup works fine.....23 metres from here to the drivers door.

Might go down and try it from the front gate.....I know I can lock and unlock it from there.
