Cruise Control Brake Switch

I would like to know what colour wire is closest to the writing on the switch (Hella, etc) as I am trying to get the cruise control working and I have replaced this switch that was missing, and the two wires that connect can go either way, and I would like to know the correct way.

hi peter, afaik they can go either way as it is a simple open/close contact switch.
