Leisure Matters Camping Trailer

Hi Folks,

I was looking at these camping trailers today in the Perth show room.

They look ok and you seem to get a lot for the $$$ but am not an expect on camping trailers...

Has anyone bought or used one of the Leisure Matters Camping Trailers??

Just looking for advice prior to spending my money.

I see you were looking for a Leisure Matters camper trailer some time back, did you end up getting one if so how did it go when used.

The reason being I am thinking of one of their hard floored campers as a lot of the identified "issues" seem to have been engineered out.

I would appreciate your comments. Cheers

A mate of mine recently bought a leisure matters CT, and I'd never heard of them, so I googled the brand and was not encouraged by what I read. We went to Fraser a few months ago with them and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised for him, as it was pretty good for the money. Yes, some of the welding was a bit rough, but crawling under it, I could not fault the ruggedness. The interior panelling appears to be made of veneer particle board that is glued and stapled together. I'm not a fan of that construction method for outback corrugated tracks, but no worse than say a Jayco.

One annoying feature was the walls around the canvas awning. The main doorway zip runs horizontally across the bottom, about 5 cm up from the ground. This leaves a bottom lip when unzipped that we were all constantly tripping on when we walked in and out of the annex.

Seemed OK value for money.
