though this area might be the best place to post.......

no fish in the dam at my work but we do have a tinnie floating around. as all tinnies take on water when it rains and the fact we need to do a risk assessment everytime we need to hop in it i thought i would help the operators out..

1 x milk crate
1 x 10w solare panel
1 x regulator
1 x 20amp/hr full river battery
1 x volt gauge

worked just fine with all the rain over the weekend

oh and the reason for a milk crate is that the system has to be removed when we need to work on the dam

I assume you've incorporated some sort of switching device with an overlap setting. Or maybe that's built into the pump anyway.

And after reading your posts, I'm now intriged as to what kind of work you do.

Does this mean you've just taken your sniper rifle out of the gun safe? :o

I was hoping I had a few more years left yet. :(

Would have to be a pretty good sniper rifle to have an 800 km range!!!

Our paths do cross at times though, as at the recent XBG at Glenreagh, and I understand that snipers are patient people.

Thanks Kelvin, much easier to move around when I don't have to watch my back all the time. :D

If I told you what I do for a living I would have to kill you

What he means is

"I drink coffee for a living, If upper management found out they'd fire me, If my pleblings found out they would be unhappy and would complain to upper management who would then find out. Therefore I shall make it sound like something militaristically hush hush so you dont feel inclined to ask."
