If you buy scones you eat them with jam & cream, its only natural.
Well if you buy a Defender you take it to Mulgo, its only natural.
Met Daniel & Mitch at Mulgo today, and left there extremely confident with having them work on my vehicle. Daniel was very helpful/informative while Mitch raised my drivers seat and put the door extensions in for the second row.
A big thank you to Daniel & Mitch and I look forward to being back there.
So any new Defender owners like me, who would be surfing the net for your mods, would have/should have come across Mulgo Expedition Centre. Well don't even hesitate in buying from these guys, it will be the best decision you will ever make for your Deefer.
And i'm sure everyone else who has met or bought online will happily agree.
The 4wd industry has so much crap out there being marketed really well, but thats the problem your just buying the marketing.
One thing I noticed and like about the Mulgo products is they just work! Built for a specific purpose, just like your Deefer. And they look great.
Cant wait to keep you all updated as the mods progress.:D:D:D:D

+1:)
I'd love to pop in to visit at Mulgo's, but it's a bit far to go:(.
Having said that though, the service I have received from my ordering a fair swag of stuff on-line has been great. The gear isn't cheap but has so far been well worth the money. Good, honest, solid engineering. Dealing with someone that's actually interested in their products and the use you'll put them to, and thinks about things beyond the initial sale, makes it a pleasant shopping experience. The memory of the cost disappears quickly when you're out enjoying the quality of the gear:angel:.
So I'll "happily agree" with Babs. Worth a check of the website at least (some cool stuff there): MULGO (http://www.expeditioncentre.com.au/)

I couldn't agree more. Having never owned a LR before Daniel's advice has been excellent. You can really do a lot of dough on your pride and joy if you don't get the right bits first. I can't wait for my fuel tanks to arrive now to make my 90 experience even better.

I'm not sure that Daniel has ever been described as the 'scones, jam and cream' of Land Rover Defender ownership, but I imagine he'd be happy with that comparison. I know I would!
I think we're fortunate to have someone with so much experience in Sydney who's also goes the extra mile to make sure his clients enjoy owning their vehicles as much as he does.
Learning from scratch is far easier when there's someone with some honest advice and not just another salesman trying to sell you their product.

exbox should be on every Defenders shopping list, not only does it save your electrics if you drive in anything over half a metre of water but it frees up valuable space to stick a load of recovery gear :) Its so easy to get carried away (I know I have!) so it's good to see a company making well thought out kit that actually serves a purpose.

I havent found Daniel's pricing that hight at all. Compared to other stuff from Africa, Australian made, or the chinese Australian made stuff his pricing is very fair.
I think the time, service, honesty, and trust he gives translates into an easy unique shopping experience.
In reality the poor bloke probably doesn't have a life because his flat out answering all our questions, but I wish him all the best with his business.

Having had my car parked at Daniels workshop for most of the last five months (if you have read my build thread you will know why) I can attest first hand to his dedication to customer service. He is a great bloke and gives his all to providing the best possible product and service.
For a small business he took a big gamble taking Mitch on and expanding the workshop and it seems to be paying off through the support and work he is getting from the LR community. For Daniel its not about the money its about the community and the lifestyle and IMHO that is a very rare trait in retailers nowadays.
