tyre size

I know this has been asked heaps but search is giving me too many unrelated posts and I cant seem too find a common answer in the posts I have read. I would like to know what tyre size (muddies) will fit under a stock height 96 v8 disco. Am planning a 2" lift but plans now changed due to 2 slashed sidewalls :mad: so now its tyres before lift.

Without a lift 245/70 or 75 fit nicely with only a little camel cut trim to the rear guards.

Short answer:

245/75/16 with a cut to the rear guard.

Otherwise what is on the tyre card on the vehicle door: 235/70/16.

Also depending on your state laws, it is likely that 245/75R16 is the largest you can legally go.
