Hi everyone,
Im kinda new to this site and also to Landrovers, so im hoping the brains trust on here can point me in the direction of a good Landy mechanic in the Darwin area. Recently moved with work from Sydney and i'm still trying to find my feet. My 130 300TDI made the transit no worries...all bar the aircon which packed it in and as most will know, this time of year aircon up here is an essential!
Anyway, if anyone knows or can recommend someone that would be very much appreciated.
Cheers,
Sean

Sean,
Someone may be along shortly to help you. May I suggest you post on this section, you will probably get quicker replies;)

Thanks for all the replies guys, the defender is booked in to see "top end rover" tomorrow. Will let you know how it pans out, now all I need is to figure out which part of this magic state I should explore over Christmas.
Thanks again!

Yeah...the rain may cause a few issues! Unfortunately I'm only here for 6 months, so I'm going to have to try and make the most of it rain hail or shine.
Will mostly be looking at weekend trips to sharpen my fishing skills, any recommendations would be very much appreciated. Will just be my wife and I and we are pretty self sufficient, but are more than happy to stay and pay if need be.

You will at least find out how much your Defender leaks ;)
There's plenty of places to go. Post something over in Territory chat and one of the Darwin members will be able to answer. I don't get over there enough with my Defenders.
You've got at most another month before the rain sets in and the monsoon trough starts to sit over the top end.
Best time of the year to be in the top end once it starts to rain :)
